What is Human Aura?
Everything on earth is resonating with energy. Energy that lies within living things is known as the aura. But what exactly is the aura?
Well, you can say that the aura is an electromagnetic energy field of multi-coloured light that reflects from all living beings. It is made up of layers of coloured light and extends out from the body almost 6 feet in all directions.
The most interesting thing is that you create your own energy field.
The electrical impulses coming from your brain to the nerve endings of your body form your aura. So we impact our energy field by our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual states. Your environment affects your aura as well.
Though most people cannot see the aura, it is certainly possible to envision this field of light. With effort and training you will be able to see this energy field around yourself and others. Assistance of scientific methods such as Bioelectro photography can help you see this energy field as well.
People with psychic abilities can see auras without practice and without using any instrument. The reason is that there is a link between auras and mystical powers such as clairvoyance.
As a matter of fact, even if you cannot see auras, developing an understanding of this energy around you can be beneficial in many ways. Studying parapsychology (the field that explores the auras, life after death, telepathy and similar concepts) can help you gain deeper understanding of the auras.

What are Auric Colours?
The energy field that surrounds living beings has different colours. Ranging from red to green, white to black, different people have different colour of light reflecting from them.
Looking deeper into the auras will allow you to know their colours, what they represent, how they can impact and change your or others’ lives.
Auric colours show your personality, your emotions and thought patterns on the outside in the form of a light field. So these colours reflect different personality types, thoughts and states one is going through.
Why Should I Learn about the Auric Colours?
The study of the energy field or the aura involves the study of auric colours that have different meanings. Here are some benefits of learning in depth about human auric colours:
Detect Moods
Aura colours reveal moods and feelings. Since auras are extensions of body language they can help you find out how one is feeling; is he happy or sad, hopeless or motivated. So you get to know people better when you are familiar with the meanings of these colours.
Find out the Truth
How do you get to know if a person is telling you the truth or not? It is the auric colour or his aura that can help you find out the hidden reality. Learning aboutthe auras will help you read people’s minds. They give insight into people’s emotions, stress level, and thoughts. So when you understand auras you can even detect lies knowing one’s aura levels that are different from what they say.
Judge Intentions
One of the major benefits of learning about auric colours is that they help you learn about the reality of a person. If a person has a bright aura, you can be sure that he or she good and spiritually advanced. A dark or gray auric colour shows low esteem and other negative energies.
Predict and Identify Health Issues
Another great benefits of seeing auras is that it helps you have an idea about a person’s health. You can detect physical imbalances through auras even before symptoms show. It means you can also heal yourself from within by learning control your aura.
Auras’ colours also represent potential health problems. Here are some auric colours that refer to certain health conditions:
- Green: Green auric colour suggestsulcers, digestive systems, or heart problems.
- Violet: Violet aura shows being at risk of thyroid or vision issues.
- Blue: Blue auric colour shows problems with a person’s throat or reproductive systems.
- Yellow: Having a yellow aura may indicate liver and prostate issues. Knee, leg, and back issues also reflect through this shade.
Layers of Auric Colours
Auras features the primary colours of the rainbow.
As we dive deeper into the ocean of auras, we get to know that there are 7 layers to the aura. Interestingly, each of the layers interconnects and also effects the other.
Your auric colourcan be both positive and negative. Likewise, it can attract or repel. Every colour has its own significance and properties. They continue to change; may intensify or become dull or even change hue altogether.
Let’s explore the layers of the aura to have a better understand of the energy field:
Physical Layers
Our aura has the first band which is the physical layer. You can also call it the Etheric Aura Layer as it is very close to our physical body. Typically, it shows a variety of shades of blue. This layer of the aura is also visible around animals and trees.
Emotional Layer
Next comes the second auric layer which is the emotional layer. As the name suggests, this layers shows our feelings and emotions. This auric colour of this layer changes as our mood feelings and emotions change. Symptoms such as upset stomach, physical tension, and cramps may result when the aura first layer is overloaded by emotional pain in the second aura layer.
Mental Layer
The third or the mental layer is where all the ideas, consciousness, thoughts and mental processes shows.
Astral Bridge Layer
The astral bridge layer is the fourth auric layer that connects with the astral planes.
Etheric Template Layer
This is the fifth layer which is like the blueprint of the physical world the person is habituating.
Celestial Aura
This is the sixth auric layer where we communicate with the spiritual realms. Generally, the shades of this layer are bright and shimmering.
Ketheric Template
Lastly, the Ketheric Template is the final layer of the aura. It holds all the other layers in place and embraces the blueprint of the spiritual path. This layer also shows the experiences of your soul and events. This layer vibrates at the highest frequency.
Do Aura Colours Change or Not?
Your auric colours constantly change depending on a number of factors such as your:
- Health
- Surroundings
- Emotions
- Personality
- Psychic awareness level
- Physical attributes (age, gender)
However, you must also know that there’s more to an aura than just its colour. There are distances, shades as well as patterns. Just like colours, these elements are also influenced by your spiritual wellness, emotional state etc.
Sometimes there are metallic auric colours with silver and golds, or even shades of other colours such as whites, blacks or grays. These changes in colour take place for particular reasons.
For example, your auric colour won’t change because of your location, rather its colour will change depending on your feelings about the place.
While some people have strong or extreme aura colours, most people have a fluctuating auric colours.
Auric Colour System
Fundamentally, there are 14 different auric colours:
- Red
- Orange
- Magenta
- Nurturing Tan
- Blue
- Yellow
- Physical Tan
- Mental Tan
- Lavender
- Violet
- Crystal
- Indigo
- Green
- Loving Tan
Every person has multiple colours in his/her aura, but the main colour is considered as a person’s life colour or primary colour. It refers to the colour that is nearest to your physical body. It is believed that this colour doesn’t change throughout your life. However, in certain exceptional cases, it may even change like a major spiritual awakening that may change one’s personality or life altogether.
Each auric colour has its own set of personality traits. Considering the variety of bands of light in the aura, everyone’s has a distinct persona as well.
Auric Colour Combinations
While most people have a single life colour, there are others who have more than one life colour and these colours remain the same all through their life. You can say that one of these colours is dominant in the life and personality of a person while the other one is secondary.
Like, a person has a Green/Yellow auric colour while another has “Yellow/Green“. Both of them have the same colour but in one person Green life colour is more dominant than Yellow and vice versa.
In case the auric colours are different in personality from one another, one may use the energies from both of the colours or have serious inner conflicts due to difference between the two.
People with two life colours generally have each colour in a different aura family. Like, a person may have Tan/Yellow auric colour. Here Yellow is a physical while Tan is a mental auric colour. Both these shades come from different aura families.
Though not often, if a person has both life colours from the same auric family, for example, Green/Tan (both mental colours), he feels like living two lives at a time.
Here are some common auric colour combinations for those with two life colours:
- Violet/Yellow
- Violet/Tan
- Violet/Green
- Tan/Yellow
- Tan/Green
- Yellow/Green
- Yellow/Green/Violet
- Blue/Violet
- Blue/Yellow
- Blue/Green
Auric Colours and Relationships
Your auric colours also have a deep impact on your relationships. Say, why you made friends with A and not B is due to the colour of your aura.
The attraction and compatibility between people’s auric colour is based on the principle of like attracts like.
In other words, people having similar auric colour or ones from the same auric family tend to be more attracted to each other compared to people having different auric colours.
Often it happens that you meet someone for the first time and you feel all at ease with him. On the other hand, another person you come across tends to annoy you instantly without any reason.
Why? Well, the reason is that the person you like has the same auric colour as yours while the other that you did not like had an auric colour which did not complement yours.
How it All Happens?
When two people meet, their auras come in contact with each other. Without even communicating they can form an opinion about each other since the auric colours communicate secretly.
However, considering your auric colour may change with time due to a number of factors as we discussed above, you can also experience changes in your relationships. For example, you may fail to get along with your best buddy or do not wish to meet him frequently as his auric colour has changed due to changes in his interest or ideas.
Likewise, someone you did not like attracts you at some point in your life as his ideas start harmonizing with yours.
Summary
